Time for sledding

Thanks to the pre-Valentine's Day blizzard last week, the temps warming up again, and Presidents' Day, we were finally able to take Kayla sledding (thank goodness the bank recognizes all those federal holidays!). Now, for those of you who are Parris Family Blog veterans, you may remember that Kayla got a sled for Christmas. But you'll also notice the blog has been missing any true sledding photos...until now.

I first had to take some pictures of Kayla's snow gear because she looked so darn cute! Fortunately, we had already done our winter-ware clearance shopping for next year and had found snow pants. Definitely room to grow in, but they worked perfectly. And as you can see, she was an adorable snow bunny.

There is a small hill at the entrance of our housing addition that was created to block the houses from the road. Turns out that it is the perfect size for a little girl to go sledding on! Unfortunately, the sled didn't go far if we tried giving it a push, so we got a little work out running Kayla up and down the hill.

A fun time was had by all, and hopefully you can catch a glimpse of that in these pictures.

Here is some video of Aaron and I taking Kayla up and down the hill. Nothing too exciting, but I was so thrilled to figure out how to post a video!
